====== Connect to the Network Drive (Mac) ======

Connect to the members share from a Mac. You need to be on the Makerspace network (use **MakerspaceMember**, not guest Wi‑Fi). See [[:it:wireless|Wireless Information]].

===== Connect in Finder =====

  - Open **Finder**.
  - From the menu bar, choose **Go → Connect to Server…** (or press Command-K).
  - In **Server Address**, enter ''smb://turnkey/members''.
  - Click **Connect**.
  - When asked how to connect, choose **Registered User**.
  - Name: ''turnkey\filer''
  - Password: ''0850''
  - Check **Remember this password in my keychain**.
  - Click **Connect**.

The members share opens in Finder and shows under **Locations** in the sidebar.

===== If it does not connect =====

  - Confirm you are on **MakerspaceMember** or a wired port in the building. Guest Wi‑Fi is internet only, so the server name ''turnkey'' will not resolve there.
  - If the password is rejected, enter the name exactly as ''turnkey\filer'' (server, then a backslash, then the account).
  - Email [[computers@rocmakers.org|computers@rocmakers.org]] or ask staff.
