Connect to the Network Drive (Windows)

Map the members share from a Windows computer. You need to be on the Makerspace network (use MakerspaceMember, not guest Wi‑Fi). See Wireless Information.

Mac instructions: Connect to the Network Drive (Mac).

Map the drive

  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. Right-click This PC and choose Map network drive.
  3. Pick a drive letter.
  4. In Folder, enter \\turnkey\members.
  5. Check Reconnect at sign-in if you want the drive each time you sign in.
  6. Check Connect using different credentials.
  7. Click Finish.

Sign in

Use the alternate login when Windows asks for credentials:

  1. Username: turnkey\filer
  2. Password: 0850
  3. Check Remember my credentials (Save Credentials).
  4. Click OK.

The members share opens in File Explorer.

If it does not connect

  1. Confirm you are on MakerspaceMember or a wired port in the building. Guest Wi‑Fi is internet only.
  2. Email computers@rocmakers.org or ask staff.
